Flippity flip!

Flippity flip Mom! Ahhhh flip. I cannot believe that things are going to flippin way they are. Flip. Don't worry. Im sure things will be ok. As for police this week.... I got pulled over on Wed night just about 10 miles out of Great Falls. It was awesome. All I have to do is send in 20 bucks to the courthouse and I'm cleared. I think I am going to try to get pulled over more often at that price. JK but seriously. Thursday we spent the day working in Elder Cox and Colfs area and then Friday we had zone conf. (Which was really good) (it always is) We were encouraged on our bike safety and lawn mower safety along with car safety. Elder Shelley, serving in Great Falls, was riding his bike the same week I mowed my toe and crashed, got knocked out, and taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Elders in Wyoming came around a corner too fast and rolled their truck several times. Our mission had a good couple weeks this past month. Back to Friday after Zone Conf.... About 6:30, after we had left Great Falls and been on the rode for about an hour, we get a call from Elder Child, who was on his way back to Havre, and he told us that he got pulled over by the same exact Montana HP guy that I did. Ha. What a day.

I'm not sure if you heard or not but Billings got a tornado Sunday and hit a couple of Buildings. This whole last week we have gotten Hail everyday. Wednesday Lewistown had tornado warnings and the hail coming down broke a couple windows. Ive never seen so much hail. We had about 3 inches of it on the ground. Looked like snow. This morning we helped a family pump about 6 inches of water out of their basement and move out all of the furniture, guns, clothes, etc that got wet. + the carpet. Good morning for them.

When the storm hit Wednesday with the tornado warnings we had just got done helping a lady mow her lawn. Don't worry I didn't do any mowing. But, she is one of those freak out types and when she heard about the tornado warnings she flipped. She was asking about what she would do if a tornado were to hit her house and she panicked like none other woman I have ever seen. We left because she was scaring us and then called us telling us she was scared. I called back and talked her down. The storm settled down too so that helped. The joys of being on a mission, let me tell ya.

I think I told you about our fast and testimony meeting a couple of weeks ago with the 98 year old former stake patriarch who sang a song? The song he sang was "I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go" and now he is in the hospital probably ready to get going on to new things. I thought that was a pretty cool story. As of now, I haven't heard anything but I'm sure it will be soon.

Last thing to ask of anyone that is reading and if... they feel so inclined to do so. I was wondering if I could milk out some conversion stories from some of you. Like I said, if you feel inclined to do so then please do so. send them by mail or email. Write as if someone was to ask you about how YOU know that the church is true.

We went tracting the other day and found two guys who, live right next to each other. That was pretty sweet. We have a return appt for one this Thursday and the other guy for the following week.

Will & Courtney left. They are gone. We are sad.

We taught K the other day. That went well. She is having some difficult times right now but she is still on target for getting her patriarchal blessing. We are excited for her.

The members in the ward are still doing good and helping us out with whatever we need. The Relief Society is helping us set up some dinners with some less active and part member families so that is very "SWEET" of them. They tend to help us out a bunch. Maybe that's because I'm from Gilbert and so is the RS President. The Bishop is helping out a lot too. Everyone is but we keep coming up empty handed. P.S. I had an epiphany ( is that how you spell it?) this past week. I do not want to be a rancher any more. They don't get any vacation and they are always working on their ranches.

It was sweet to see the Ladukes. We had a good little visit on the AF Base. Its kind of like that Twilight zone episode where its their own little community out there and they have everything the need on the base. Weird. Anyway, we had a good visit and NO we did not make it to their ward potluck which I would have liked to. They have 3 kiddos now and the oldest is getting pretty big. I remember when he was just born. They told us that they are headed to Delaware in three weeks.

A couple last things: A guy in our ward just won the world Auctioneering championships in Oklahoma and is now the poster boy for the world auctioneering association or whatever it is. I thought that shed some light on the city of Lewistown and what its made out of.

That's about it for our week. We're still chugging along. Got to teach a gay black guy. It was awesome.

Also, helping the Barber family castrate lambs on Wednesday. yep. Cuttin' the scrotum, pullin' the testis and sendin' them on their way.

Church is still true

Thanks

Love

Elder Heywood.

(comin' up on 16 months aye yah.)
