I heard that Boise State went to MWC and will be playing in it by 2011 and that Colorado is now in the PAC 10? It also sounds like Pete Carroll got out of USC just in time. haha sucks for them.
Thats funny. I was just going to ask about Garrett and Jordan. Theyre married now, sweet! When are they going to Dixie? I think that will be awesome. I wouldn't mind going to Dixie. I think they play Montana in football. I could go walk on there. Maybe not any more though.
I still got some more questions for you guys. Has Nathan or anyone else serving in South Africa talked about the world cup? All my comp can do is talk about the world cup with anyone who knows anything about it. We're in Montana though so it doesnt happen too often. He loves soccer and is pretty much a soccer encyclopedia.
An last but not least, the biggest news of the week is that Elder Davis is a huge fan of PK, yep, thats right, when Elder Davis used to live in Utah he was a devout listener of DJ and PK in the mornings while on his way to school with his dad. He flipped out when I told him that I "Knew" PK. You can let Patrick Kinahan know that he has at least touched one life with the power of his sports cast calling in his life. I thought you might like to know that little bit of info.
Actually, this will be my last comment. Aaron and Katie? I am down on my knees. I get home in 9 months. Please oh please make me a baby. Make me a baby so that he will be finished by the time I get home. Perfect time. 9 months. Thats all I'm asking.
As for the missionary work in L-Town..... like I've said for the last 2 months, its still progressing just at a speed that isnt the most satisfying. I mean, it is Lewistown for goodness sake, not Ogden Utah. I think I've been spoiled the last couple areas. But, weve come up with some resolutions. First, we are going to spend all week, almost every hour of every day, tracting. What the heck, there's not much else to do. Next, we have really been working with the ward to try and do some little things here and there. We are having the RS call up some LA and PMFs in the ward to have us over for dinner so hopefully that works out well. It will allow us to go out to some families that live too far away for us to get to and let us hopefully teach them somewhat. I think the Philippines will be a little different. We went over again last night to our friends house, Bud B. and talked all about the Philippines again. We talked about public urination, men holding each others hands, yummy foods, and how its gonna a be a huge shock for Bear. Can't wait. Its gonna be pound pound so sick x2.
For Bob, the guy that owns the mower of the accident that I had, we saw him yesterday and he still feels horrible. I told him it was ok over and over and we just asked him if we could teach him. He said yes but that word doesnt have a lot of conviction for us these days. Will & Courtney, we figured out are moving at the end of this week. We were supposed to go over and teach them Saturday but with a brand new baby and moving and surgery and legal problems.... it didnt work out. We did find out that Courtney has read all the way to Jacob from the Introduction of the Book of Mormon. They told us to stop by again Wednesday and told us that they would make sometime to sit down before they take off and we could have a lesson. What we will probably end up doing is exchange info and make sure that the missionaries in Oregon make contact with them. Thats the best we can do. Pray for them. Satan works so hard on those types of people. Its been evident in every progressing investigator that we've had. He's good. Watch out.
Another interesting thing that we learned this week was all about paddlefishing. Its only a fish that lives up in these parts of the country off the missouri river. Check them out online. They're huge.
I almost forgot about K. He's also one of those Eternigators. He came to church again last sunday and claims he's gonna become a member but he wont let go of the green card. Everytime we talk to him we get off on some tangent about Aliens or something ridiculous. Its awesome. Luke would enjoy K.
Hope you guys have a good summer. Make sure you mow lawns that are flat. If you do mow a hill side make sure you wear some steel toed boots. All the cowboys in ward of course had to share their stories with me about how they almost lost one of their limbs. It was another great and entertaining Sunday.
Last thing. Went to Dr Olivos just before emailing and said things are looking a lot better. Thanks for all of the gauze.
Love
Elder PHeywood
