Letter sent Monday:

I'm alive.

I will send a full email today but wanted your thoughts on couple of things.

I am making an appearance as Santa at our Zone Conferences. Elder King will by my elf. We want to know how we should make our ENTRANCE. Its a surprise. We gotta make the kiddos smile.

Also, we want some ideas for games that can be played with large groups of people. Christmas oriented.

If you don't have any ideas don't strain yourselves to come up with some. I just wondered if you had any off the top of yur heads.

LOVE

Letter sent Tuesday:

Hey. Sorry for not emailing earlier. Also, sorry for the mis-communication. The zone conferences are this week. We just had our first one today in Billings. It was good. The main part of it was the testimony of President Hill. President Hill is in our mission presidency, a counselor to president Gardner. He lives up in the Missoula area but came down to give his talk. He is a scientist and works at the university in Missoula. He is on the committee for election of the Nobel Prize as well. He has some pretty good knowledge of science. His presentation was really good. Maybe I will record it.

P.S. The Santa appearance was alright.

I have something for you guys to do as a family. For the month of December go to the topical guide and look over scripture references under JESUS CHRIST. There are over 18 pages of references and about 50 different subjects. Learn a little more about the savior.

We go to Lovell, WY tomorrow morning.

Last week was pretty good. The longest drive of the week was from Great Falls all the way to Glendive. It was long. The whole time I kept thinking that I could drive from Gilbert to San Diego in the time that it took for us to make our trip. It was nice to spend time in the other areas and get to know some of the other Elders a little bit better. Of course, the best stop was Glendive. Plus, we got to go to church in the morning. It allowed me to say the goodbye that I was never allowed to 4 weeks ago.

It sounds like things are goin good back at homebase. Grandma sent some pics of Thanksgiving and the grass was green and the kiddos were wearin short and t shirts. It is warming up here. This evening it was about 30. It felt really good. I will be glad when Its gone.

You will have to tell Bishop Greer thanks for me. He sent me a really inspirational letter the other day. It was really good.

I gave Elder Unga and King our home phone. you should be expecting a call within the next three weeks or so. The big mission speculation right now is trying to figure out who will replace Elder King. Its different being on this end of things.

C is doing good. She came to the mission home to watch the Christmas devotional with us and the Gardners. Afterwards we had a "understanding" type lesson for her. She has criminal charges and she still doesn't understand why she cant be baptized... yet.

I'm thinking this week we will try to swing by the As and have dinner with them.

I will give a better report next week.
